What is the maximum load capacity?
All standard Di-Lock workbench sizes — Compact, Deep Compact, Standard, and Deep Standard — are rated to 500kg.
The Workshop size (1,200 × 2,400mm) has an uprated frame and is rated to 1,000kg (1 tonne), making it suitable for professional workshop and motorsport environments.
What is a self-levelling castor?
A self-levelling castor combines the mobility of a standard castor wheel with height-adjustment capability. This lets you level the bench on uneven floors while still being able to move it around — useful for garages and workshops where the concrete floor isn't perfectly flat.
Unlike a standard locking castor (which just locks the wheel in place), a self-levelling castor automatically adjusts to compensate for surface irregularities as it rolls.
How much does delivery cost?
UK mainland: Free delivery on all workbenches. Attachments carry a small delivery fee.
EU: £100 flat rate for workbench delivery.
Rest of world: £200 flat rate. Contact us before ordering if you're outside the UK or EU and we'll confirm shipping costs and timelines.
Do you accept returns?
Yes. We accept returns on items that have not been assembled or used, within 14 days of receiving your order.
We'll refund the full purchase price. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Please contact us before returning anything so we can arrange the process.
Are the workbenches covered by a warranty?
Yes — all Di-Lock workbenches are covered by a 3-year warranty from the date of sale. This covers manufacturing defects and structural failure under normal use.

How long does assembly take?
Most people complete assembly in around 2 hours. You'll need basic hand tools — no specialist equipment required. Full step-by-step assembly instructions are included with every bench.
We recommend deciding on your working height during assembly, as the bench height is adjustable at build stage but requires partial disassembly to change afterwards.
Do I need the workbench to use the attachments?
Yes. All Di-Lock attachments are designed specifically for the Di-Lock® rail system, which is built into every Torland workbench. The attachments won't fit other workbench brands.
